The Beginnings of a Bypass

 



Stabilization of Rock Block #1 on the upper wall of Black Canyon, Arizona.  Monks/Vastco (General Contractor), Yenter (Subcontractor).

Background: A CAT 5110 excavator and a fleet of CAT 773 haul trucks are used to haul embankment material. 
Foreground: Monks uses a CAT 245B with a ram hoe to reduce oversized material for placement into embankment fill.
