Procurement

Construction of the Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge (Colorado River Bridge) is now complete.  The Colorado River Bridge, the central portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project, was advertised on June 8, 2004.   This bridge facilitates the realignment of US 93 and spans the Colorado River approximately 1,500 feet downstream of Hoover Dam, connecting Clark County, NV and Mohave County, AZ.  This portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project encompassed all aspects of the construction of this transportation facility, as well as relative minor approach roadway work.

The Hoover Dam Bypass Project has been managed and administered directly by the Central Federal Lands Division of the Federal Highway Administration.  A joint stakeholder team consisting of numerous agencies participated in the overall guidance of the project, however CFLHD is responsible for all contract actions.

Downloadable Materials for the Colorado River Bridge

These materials are no longer available, since the contract has been awarded.  If you are interested in one of the Hoover Dam Bypass Construction Projects or other CFLHD projects, please follow the link to the CFLHD procurement page below, and fill out the mailing list application and  presolicitation notice database form. CFLHD will then query the database and notify on any project that fits the identified work elements.  Once the presolicitation notice is issued (usually about 2 weeks prior to advertisement), then the contractor or supplier can request a set of plans directly from A&D Draft Aid at (303) 573-5757.  These plans will only be available after formal advertisement of the project in the Fed Biz Opps.  Contractors or suppliers should still review the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps) and the CFLHD Procurement page to ensure that you do not miss any project. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure and verify advertisements through the Fed Biz Opps.  Please see the CFLHD Procurement page for specific solicitation dates.
